RCC is the default for permanent institutional pools: it takes any shape, handles difficult ground and lasts longest. Panel systems go up faster and suit tight programmes or constrained sites, but are less forgiving of poor ground. We assess soil and access at survey and recommend on that basis, not on what is quicker to sell.
Running cost is driven by pool volume, turnover rate, pump efficiency and how many hours a day you circulate. Oversized plant wastes power every single day for the life of the pool, so we size the system to your actual volume and bather load rather than rounding up. We share indicative running figures with the quotation.
Outdoor pools cost less to build and feel better most of the year, but lose swimming time to peak summer sun and heavy monsoon. Indoor or covered pools extend usable hours and protect the water from debris, at higher capital and ventilation cost. For year-round academy training, covered usually pays back.
Typically 90 to 180 days from site handover, depending on size, shell type and ground conditions. RCC needs curing time that cannot be compressed. Add two to four weeks upfront for survey, drawings and system sizing, and around a week at the end for filling, water balancing and staff training.
Conventional chlorination with automated dosing suits most institutional pools. UV-assisted systems cut chlorine demand and the smell that comes with it, which matters for indoor pools and younger swimmers. Salt chlorination is also available. We size and commission whichever route you pick, and train your staff on daily testing.
Yes — an annual maintenance contract covering plant room servicing, dosing supervision, water testing and periodic deep cleaning is available as an add-on. Most schools and societies take it for at least the first year while their own staff build up the routine. Scope and frequency are set to your usage.
